Datuk Dr. S. C. Siow is a Consultant General ENT Surgeon, with specialty interest and experiences particularly in Rhinology, Laryngology, Snoring & Sleep Apnea and comprehensive and advanced NBI diagnostic endoscopic system for nasal, pharyngeal and laryngeal region.

 

In the field of Rhinology, Dr.Siow has considerable experience in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and its applications such as the endoscopic treatment of Structural Nasal Corrective Surgery (Endoscopic Septoplasty and Turbinoplasty ) Epistaxis management (nose bleeds), Rhinolight Phototherapy for Allergic Rhinitis and detailed Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Screening and diagnostic regime.

 

Dr. Siow also carries out cosmetic nasal surgery by the Open Rhinoplasty technique and he is also a trained member of AOCMF Facial Trauma surgery

 

He has great interest in the surgical treatment and non surgical treatment of snoring and sleep apnea by various methods such as the relative pain free Plasma- Col-Ab Tonsillectomy, Laser Uvuloplasty (LAUP) and Col-Ab uvuloplasty (CAUP) and Fiberoptic Laser Phono Surgery also having a clinic in advice regarding sleep and management.

 

Currently, a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Siow Ear Nose and Throat Specialist Clinic, the Medical Specialist Center and a visiting consultant of Kempas Medical Centre , Johor Bahru.

 

Prior to his appointment as a Consultant in 2003, he was a Specialist in Hospital Seremban, his postgraduate training at Hospital Malacca, Hospital Kuala Lumpur and the University Hospital (University Malaya).

 

Dr.Siow strongly believes in an honest and multidisciplinary approach to his practice and aims to provide patients with minimally invasive intervention methods combined with advanced diagnostics ENT treatment, through an open discussion with patients and close links with the referring clinicians and therapists.
